Thank you Karen, the WA coast is absolutely beautiful, I haven't been to Busselton since i was a kid, but have fond memories of it, I hope you guys enjoy your holiday over here

Thanks Linda, I was surprised when I stumbled accross my sketches, there was soo much more, but I think they have been lost over the years...I really wish I had all my Plastercine characters too.....what an inspiration they would have been for my bears...oh well just have to rely on my memory

Nice to read more about you, Kim. I envy you living on a beautiful coastal area. I love the ocean but somehow I've gotten stuck in a desert. Your drawings truly are wonderful and you know how I feel  about your critters. You are very talented and I'm so glad I know you.

Wow Kim - you are very, very talented.  I adored your sketches.

When I read your story I was amazed that we have so many similarities in our lives - I'm also married to a semi driver (28 yrs this year) & we live at the beach on the east coast, so I know how wonderful that can be (ah, if only we could find more time to spend there instead of working all the time!)

I enjoyed the story - thanks for sharing.

Hugs

Marg

PS:  My hubby loves your prime mover by the way!!! (such a man thing!)

Thank you Marlys, I'm so glad to know you too, it's really hard to imagine living in a desert, although I did live inland for about 4 years in the "wheatbelt" as it is called which probably is not too far off desert......miles and miles of dry red dirt and scorching hot in the summer....yes we are very lucky to live where we are now

Thank you too Marg, wow how funny is that, yes we must make an effort to get to the beach more often, it is truely a magical place, such a shame dogs aren't allowed though!

My hubby is so proud of his rig, it is 9 years old and his dream truck, he is always polishing all the shiny bits and that keeps him pretty busy, which gives me time to myself to create!!!

Thanks Katrina, ditto to you too, I still remember our Hubbys at the Gold Coast Show being inseparable, I will never forget it, it was just too funny!

Thanks Robyn, I really enjoyed it too, once I was there (not a lover of traveling), I hope to make it over next time, it would be nice to catch up with everyone, now that I know them all a bit better

What an interesting article  I really enjoy getting to know everybody a little better.

How lucky you are Kim to live near the beach, and I wish I had your dedication to exercise. I know I should do more, but just can't bring myself to keep at it unfortunately!

Hi Kim, great to read a little about you, I handed on my gym membership as I just wasn't using it enough to justify the fees. It's a 40 min drive in before I even get started so considered it a big intrusion on my days. Anyway my next door neighbour is under doctor's instructions to get her weight and blood pressure down so she's using it, she works near there so its cool. Must say I don't niss it all, I take Lily for a long walk each day, that will do me  Your drawings are fab.

Thanks Gail and Linda, It sure does require a lot of dedication to go to a gym everyday, and I don't blame you Linda, a 40 minute drive is just too much, mine is only 25 minutes and I usually meet my hubby and/or my sister there, so it's also a bit of an outing for me, otherwise a would rarely leave the house., (and probably look like a side of a house too!).
