Linda, I certainly can relate to your lifestyle...we built a mud-brick home many years ago, it was designed by Alistair Knox from Eltham....we lived in a caravan with 3 small children while building......it wasn't finished either until the hard decision to sell it 12 years later.....you mentioned your just a hippie...I am sure in my past life I WAS a hippie...I hate shoes and love the smell of incense etc wafting through the house.
A great read, and if we ever get to Tassie with our caravan we will call by...

Hi Linda
Great read it's funny but you live just as I pictured you too. Are you an earth sign? It looks lovely and your deck looks like the perfect place to sit and sew or have that odd glass of wine

I guess my bears have come a long way over the years Linda

A couple of years ago I would never have thought that I'd actually miss a computer! It's amazing how this machine has become so important to my life, this morning I've been having headaches with it, but it seems to be sorted now. ( and what's more it's been forgiven!) Thanks for your comments everyone, Raewynn I'm a Virgo, I think that's an Earth sign. Now all I need is some warm weather so I can make good use of the patio!

Hi Linda, It was really nice to meet you at Hugglets, I had no idea that you made tiny bears as well as larger ones! It was lovely to read about you and where you live, it looks wonderful.I wish we were heading towards summer instead of the depths of winter (not my favourite season)

Hi Gail, It was lovely to meet you too, and Ruth. I like to mix my bears up a bit because the big ones are very taxing on my old body. Then again the minis present with their own set of challenges as you would well know! Spring and Autumn are my favourite seasons here, it just gets too dry in Summer and we're constanly scanning the sky for signs of bush fire

I love reading about each month's featured artists - feels like we get to know one another a little better. Linda you and Chris have a fabulous property - I can just imagine your long, lazy walks with the dogs. Fantastic - you look like you have found your piece of paradise. My brother & his family live at Kingston Beach near Hobart - if we pop down one day to visit them I'd love to catch up with you (actually what a good excuse to go on the Spirit of Tasmania!!!) Hugs marg
