Teddy Bears and Critters - Australasia

I wasn't expecting this at all - a lovely rosette in the post today to tell me I've been nominated in the Miniature Bear category of the BBAAs !!! I had honestly nearly forgotten about it ; I was so surprised and delighted

Mind you "the 13 yr old" had already confided that he didn't think I'd get through this time as , in his opinion , my piece wasn't up to the standard of last year's !!!! Cheeky little ....... I'll have something to surprise him with too when he gets home !

I don't think there is a website Kim (we seem to be lagging in Blighty technologically speaking ) but I'm assuming that all the nominees will be in the next teddy Bear Times - due out here next week .

It's quite a trek to get to the final judging venue so it makes it all an adventure !!

BTW my son seemed genuinely surprised by my news (little rotter ! LOL)

Just letting you know the judging was yesterday ; I got a 2nd place award to bring home ! I met up with lots of people there , including Shelly who gained a 2nd place for her handsome rabbit . What a very long way to go though - very tiring .
