Bill and I went to see the movie Avatar. It was the first time I had been to a movie at the theater in 10 years. It's a 3D movie and it was AMAZING! The creatures and plants were really cool and I came away with more ideas for my submission for the ACDA awards.

I've only heard great things about this movie, Chris really wants to see it, so I think we'd better go. I'm not a big fan of CGI (even though that's what my son is studying at uni) but I gather this one is amazing!

I haven't seen it yet Nancy, but it's on my list...just wanted to wait till the kids go back to school so I can watch it in peace.

It has a M rating but the kids still manage to get in.

Just make sure you see it in 3D. We had a choice of 2D or 3 and I think the 3D cost a little more but it was worth it. I really pulls you into the movie. We went to an afternoon showing on a Friday and there were only adults. But the kids are in school here now.

Glenn's booked for the 3D session late on Tuesday evening, so should be okay...really looking forward to seeing it. We both love Sci Fi and Fantasy movies.

We have just arrived back from seeing AVATAR and I must agree with Nancy, it's a movie NOT TO BE MISSED!

Both Glenn and myself were enthralled the whole way through and definitely worth paying to see it in 3D...a beautiful combination of Fantasy and SciFi.

And Linda if you don't go see it with Chris you'll regret it!

Also saw the shorts of Alice in Wonderland in 3D...that next on the list!
