Okay, where is everybody...what are you up to? 

It took me over an hour to get on the net today ,then I suddenly remembered we also have Firefox after spending way too much time with Explorer! I have to get the house bomb proofed as my grandson is coming for the night and at 19 months old he's into EVERYTHING! He especially likes my sewing stuff! The dog has been chewing sticks in here and there are bits all over the floor, so out with the vacuum too

Hey everyone.  Well I'm up to my eyeballs in mohair again - this time preparing for Sydney show which is coming around much quicker than I'd like.  Had the worlds most fantastic remedial massage this arvo to relieve all that built up tension due to stress and bad posture while sewing (he! he!).

Linda - just poppin' over to check out your blog ... mine's in a state of neglect so will have to do something about that!

Zafira - welcome to Oz!  Where abouts are you moving to?

I'd forgotten what it's like trying to get dinner ready with a toddler around! Interesting! Sam and Chris went to see Avatar last night and I got to hold the baby  He's so gorgeous I love him to bits! So not much sewing going on here until he goes home later today

Hi everybody!

I do not have much time to work on bears as I am preparing an examination test as a pasport to be admin secretary in schools. I may not manage to be ready in time as I received books very late because of changes in the program. So this year's test might just be a training for next year's... The first step of the test in in mid april.

Concerning the Fantasy challenge, I have designed a head pattern that suits me. I still have to try a few changes in it to round the shape here and there and adapt it for the use of two different fabrics. This will probably be my very first head with darts.

Then I will need to work on the next parts of the pattern, as this will be a totally new one.

I want that one to be a masterpiece.

Now, back to work.

I hope I'm back for good now. Had a bit a rough time through the holidays, but I'm so looking forward to this new year. I should realize that when I feel the most sad is exactly the time I need to put myself around friends who will keep me on track and motivated.

I have a lot to catch up with so I'm perusing the site carefully.

Trying to get everything done...taxes for our water business, critters made, and keeping the house clean. I have a "live" show the Sunday after the BMV show so I am trying to get ready for that too.

My fulltime job has been keeping me busy, well to be real honest its really getting in the way!!!.   So not much time for bears at the moment or motivation unfortunately.

Also desperately trying to finish off  our house renovations to hopefully sell up and move in the next year or so.

Also planning our trip to the US in a few months time.   Something to look forward to.

Same here.....Just not enough hands and hours in the day.    Had a good day yesterday though...started with cutting out one bear and then the creative juices began to follow, so I went with it...designed a couple of new bears and ended up cutting out about 10 bears, all different.  Now I just have to sit down to sew them, in this heat.  Yesterday was 41, today is expected to be higher

Sorry if I am driving you all nuts with the emails, but I figure it's best for me to send several short ones rather than one long one, otherwise you never read to the end of the page...

Have lots on the go and have just added the new clock and currency conversion links to the side bar...let your collector's know where to find it (just in case they don't notice it there).

Have had trouble getting into the bear sewing of late...house renos, then moving in, Christmas etc, etc....I have managed to complete a couple of little bears and they have found new homes.

Today as hubby is at lawn bowls I went for a wander through my stash....got me motivated...now to tweak and design new bears...going to try a little larger size for awhile...have so many larger discs so I have to start to use them before I order any more little ones...also am aiming to make dressed bears as I have the room now to bring out the sewing machine...the intent is there hope it stays with me...
