Dear friends,

I thought I already posted this topic on this forum, but maybe I did not put it in the right place and it was removed. Strange. My mind is too blurred to understand.

I have very sad news to share with you.

My poor brother lost his battle against leukemia and passed away the 31st of january before I had time to see him again. It ended so fast... His last chemo failed.

He was only 30 years old.

He fighted very bravely during these very long eleven months, never giving up.

My mind is a big mess but out of that I suppose I can say I am sort of okay.

I just cannot bear staying alone anymore... A chance Malko is now on holidays for two weeks.

Dear Sophie, this is just dreadful for you to have to cope with.  Denis fought so bravely to stay with you and it is just so cruel that he was unable to win the battle.  I hope that in the coming weeks that the wonderful memories you have of him are able to overtake the grief that you are experiencing now.  Please take care of yourself and I am sending you the biggest hug.

I keep thinking about Bernie too, you know. He too has been very brave in his battle. We have to be brave ourselves too now, as they might be keeping an eye on us while having a cup of tea together in Paradize... At least, I hope. They deserved to meet each other.

Because of what happened to both Bernie and Denis I know I will always have you in my thought, each time I will be thinking about my brother.
