Teddy Bears and Critters - Australasia

AS many of you know Garth bought me a Dymocks Bookshop for my 50th birthday!! We won't go there.......anyway.....being in a business district of Sydney I'm really keen to introduce some craft stuff to the girls in the area. A new book being released soon has some of the most bizzare and funny tea cozies I've ever seen....geat crafty stuff.  Anyway I need some people to help me knit them and then I'm going to decorate my window with them all and run a competition to raise funds for charity. Dymocks has a childrens literacy one they supports replacing lost libraries at schools ie Vics fires etc. I can send the patterns etc if anyone can find a night or two to help knit a tea cozy!!  Any takers!!

Sorry Sandra, I'd love to help but can hardly keep up with what's on my plate now.

Organising the Fantasy Show and the ACD awards takes up most of my "FREE" time, and making bears and teaching the rest.

Besides I wouldn't dare take on anything else now...I think hubby throw a hissy fit!

Hi Sandra,  Not a fantastic knitter but will give it a go... Sounds like a brillant idea though

What's the deadline Sandra? Depending when I might be able to get one knitted.Will also pass it on to my knitting friend.

No real deadline as such.........the book is hitting the shops in abot 8 weeks and it would be great to have the window display for then but if it's a few weeks later I;m not hassled at this moment.
