Teddy Bears and Critters - Australasia

Hi All

Well, I've done it!  I took another plunge into this wonderful world of bears - I entered 2 bears in the 2009 URSA awards (Mocha in Category 3 and Sleepy Time Joe in Category 6). 

Wish me well - actually good luck also to Kim and Silvia who have also entered.  Competition is stiff - we're up against some very well established artists worldwide, some of whose work blows me away.  To be amongst such esteemed company is a great honour for me.

Hoping all of our bear buddies at TBACA have time to place a vote - they all count!

I haven't seen Mary's work for years as I can no longer get the American mags here in Lonny and I like to look at them before I buy since they're pretty exy, so won't subscribe. Do you know Mary's website address? I'd love to have a look at what else she's doing.

A huge big beary CONGRATS to Kim (Russell Bears) on her wins in the 2009 URSA Awards!    Kim picked up a 1st place for Booh and a 3rd place for Lil' Stinker.  Well done Kim!

Awe, thank you so much guys, I was sooo blown away by "Booh's" first place win, I'm still shocked...but over the moon too!!!
