If you follow these directions on how to upload a background you can't go wrong.

1. Copy the code posted below your chosen background.

2. Make sure you are logged in to your blog, then click "Customise" at the top of your blog.

3. Click on "Add A Gadget"

4. Scroll down the box and click on "Html/Javascript"

5. In the "Content Box" and paste the Html code you copied.

6. Click "Save"!

Hi Sandi.

You are a star!!!  I didn't realise how easy it was to change my blog from the  'basic black' templates to whatever my heart desired.  I often wondered and marvelled at how others got their blogs to look so customised.

I had a look through the backgrounds on the site you recommended, but didn't really come across anything that was 'me', but my interest was piqued, so I went hunting on the net and came across one I'm happy with for the moment - hey! I now even have a neat little 'blinky'!!! (wonders will never cease! he! he!)

Sandi, that's a wonderul site. I've only just scanned it but it's saved in my Favorites. Ashley's been here all week and I'm exhausted! Haven't had much time to check my favorite sites. Will be going home with her for a few days...leaving tomorrow, so I may be absent for a while though I'll try to check in.

I'll definitely read this blog. I've wondered about changing things, too, but I'm afraid I'll really mess everything up. She's a fantastic lady to provide all this information for the html-challenged like me.
